These terms govern your use of this website and any donation you make through it. The site is operated by Impact Unity Corp, a domestic nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of the State of New Mexico (file 3159806), EIN 41-4266568, with its principal office at 499 Sierra Dr SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108, United States. Using the site means you accept these terms.

What this site is

An informational site about a new nonprofit corporation and a way to donate to it. It is not a marketplace. Nothing on it is sold, and no goods or services are offered in exchange for a payment.

Donations

Every gift is governed by our donation & refund policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: gifts are voluntary, charged in United States dollars, receipted by email, refundable within 30 days on request, and — because our 501(c)(3) application is still pending — not currently tax-deductible.

By donating you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that the payment method is yours or that you are authorized to use it, and that the funds are lawfully yours to give. We may decline or return any gift, without giving a reason, including where accepting it would conflict with our charitable purpose or with applicable law.

Not tax or legal advice

Statements on this site about tax status describe our own filings, not your tax position. We are not your advisers. Consult a qualified professional before treating any gift as deductible.

Accuracy of what we publish

The filing details published here — file number, EIN, addresses, directors, purpose — are reproduced from the documents as filed, and every one of them is independently checkable through the links on our record page. If a registry and this site ever disagree, the registry is correct and we will fix the page. Everything else on the site is a statement of intent about work not yet done, and we label it that way.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the site to break the law, to launder funds, or to test stolen payment credentials.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorized access to the site or its payment integration.
• Do not impersonate Impact Unity Corp, its directors, or a donor, and do not solicit funds in our name without written authorization from the board.

We report suspected card fraud to Stripe and to the card networks, and we cooperate with law enforcement where a request is lawful.

Our name and materials

The text, layout, logo and images on this site belong to Impact Unity Corp. You may quote or reproduce them for reporting on, donating to, or verifying the organization. You may not use our name or logo to suggest a partnership, endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.

Third parties

Payments are handled by Stripe, Inc. under Stripe's own terms and privacy policy. Links to state and federal registries are provided so you can verify us; those sites are not operated by us and we are not responsible for their content or availability.

Availability and liability

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or take down any part of it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Impact Unity Corp and its directors are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your statutory rights and your card network's chargeback rights, which remain available to you in full.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, and the state and federal courts sitting in Bernalillo County, New Mexico have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not remove the protections of the mandatory law of your own country.

Changes

If these terms change materially we update the date above and describe the change on this page. The version in force when you donate is the one that governs that gift.
